Calm in the Shift

This entry is a combination of two topics that have surfaced. I’ve become increasingly aware in recent days of both, so I’ll allow the words to flow now as they come.

Everyone, even those who aren’t yet awakened, or not “spiritual” by their own accord, has felt the shift in energy that has happened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The way it is felt by each of us is unique to our own perspective, and in turn, so are the responses and/or reactions. The extroverted ones may be having a difficult time adjusting, while introverted ones may be going about business as usual. What is a commonality, however, is that all humans across the globe are experiencing a shift in rules, behaviors, and ways of living.

There is a shift in the system that everyone spends every day cycling through, and the shift has caused panic around the world. It is very understandable, as we have become accustomed to this system and way of life, that when the system suddenly changes, panic sets in for many. Jobs have been lost while bills persist, physical presence and touch has been minimized, and life isn’t the same. What do we do now?

So much importance and value is placed on business, money, politics, power, ownership, and status in this system. We’ve witnessed the reliance on the system of the people, now that parts of the system have been taken away from daily lives. This reliance is in large part due to the illusionary mandate of living within it in this life, but also because many don’t know any other way.

While that shift on the surface of daily living has induced panic, it is also bringing forth more awakenings. More people are now questioning the system, questioning how they live their lives and why, questioning the purpose of all of this here and now…and good will come from these awakenings.

There is resilience in our existence, mainly stemming from the innate tendency to choose to survive, and this resilience brings about adaptation when things aren’t working. There will be a set of people who are going to go deep during this “downtime”, and look at how they can adapt their lives so that this blow to the system will not negatively affect them again, Even better, some will ask themselves what permanent positive changes can come from this?

Going deeper: What new way of life can I experience, without reliance on this system?

It isn’t to say that some of these things aren’t already being done. However, the way that business and money dictates and corrupts in the current system, there are times where genuine care and inspiration starts a helpful resource, only to be sucked into the system and become a machine looking only to turn a profit.

I believe that this feeling, this energy, this concept, will start with the return to what matters: the souls, connections, and experiences. Focusing on the people, the love. In turn, inspiration for creating new things that helps others grow and expand in their own ways as well. Knowing that this system doesn’t work, the focus on what matters should be the driving force.

It won’t be overnight. It has been thousands of years so far, after all…but never before, has there been as many conscious and awakened souls as there are now.

With all of that being said, where does the calm come in? Maybe it’s a feeling of knowing this transformation was coming. Maybe it’s from a deep seeded, innate knowing that things will turn out OK, for their highest and greatest good, no matter what that looks like. Maybe it’s from past experiences, where I’ve lived through panic, stress and anxiety of my own and saw the calm on the other side. For whatever it is worth, the calm is in me and I am in it. Utilize the contrast to point you in the direction you want to go, but then go. Don’t turn that cup of coffee with contrast into a residential lease agreement…just go. I hope to be a beacon of light that others can source for guidance, and in turn, find their calm as well.
